While HEPAs capture particulate pollution like PM2.5 and dust, carbon filters get VOCs. These are hazardous gases that normally pass right through a HEPA. Activated carbon filters react with these hazardous gases to remove them from the air. Also great for capturing unwanted odours!

Doesn’t really work

It’s easy to install but it doesn’t really get rid of smells. I have issues with a neighbour smoking and the smell coming through to my place. It works a little but only to some extent. The threshold is low. .

Appreciate the feedback. Being a smaller unit the Sqair may struggle with stronger smells like smoke - especially if used in a larger space. For situations like this you may need either a larger unit or additional carbon filters. I'll get in touch with you to discuss further :)

Excellent essential

As well as this product being extremely effective, it arrived almost before I'd ordered it! I've been very impressed with Snap Air's customer service and wouldn't be without my Sqair air purifier, it has really been life-changing.
