Shipping Info
All orders are shipped from our warehouse based in Hornby, Christchurch. Orders are sent out Monday - Friday (excl. Public Holidays). Orders placed before 1:30pm are normally dispatched the same business day. Blast and Blast Mini orders are sent by freight and may take a little longer to prepare. See below for more detail.
Please note we are not able to deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Pods.
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link by email. If you encounter any delivery issues, please contact the local courier or freight branch in the first instance. You’re also welcome to contact us if you need help.
Shipping Costs
Standard delivery:
- Orders under $100: $12.99
- Orders over $100: Free
Rural delivery:
- Orders under $100: $21.49
- Orders over $100: $8.50 rural surcharge
Outer island delivery:
- Orders under $100: $42.99
- Orders over $100: $29.99 outer island surcharge
Outer island delivery includes areas such as Great Barrier Island, Waiheke and the Chatham Islands. Delivery timeframes may be longer than standard courier timeframes.
If a rural or outer island surcharge appears at checkout and you think it has been added incorrectly, please get in touch and we’ll check it for you. You can also place the order and let us know afterwards. If the surcharge was applied incorrectly, we’ll refund it.
Orders Excluding Blast or Blast Mini:
These orders are sent by courier, usually with Post Haste or Castle Parcels.
Typical delivery timeframes after dispatch are:
- Christchurch Metro: 1 business day
- Rest of South Island: 1–2 business days
- North Island: 1–3 business days, with most orders arriving in 1–2 business days
Rural delivery may take an extra 1–2 business days. Outer island delivery may also take longer.
Orders Including Blast or Blast Mini:
Blast and Blast Mini are too large for standard courier delivery, so these are sent by freight. They are normally transported by PBT, Owens, or Mainfreight.
Before dispatch, the purifier is wrapped and placed on a small pallet to help ensure it arrives safely. Please keep this in mind when choosing your delivery address. Dispatch may take an additional 1–2 business days compared with smaller courier orders.
Typical delivery timeframes after dispatch are:
- Christchurch Metro: 1–2 Business Days
- Rest of South Island: 1–2 Business Days
- North Island: 2–3 Business Days

Rural freight surcharges for Blast and Blast Mini:
- South Island rural delivery: $29.99
- North Island rural delivery: $39.99
Freight delivery to outer island addresses may need to be confirmed manually. If you’re ordering a Blast or Blast Mini to an outer island address, please contact us first and we’ll confirm the best option.

Q. Can I pay extra for faster delivery?
A. Currently we don’t offer this option as it is significantly more expensive and standard timeframes are relatively quick. However this may change in the future
Q. What happens if items are missing or damaged?
A. First please check the package thoroughly as orders may be combined into the same box. However failing this please get in touch with us: hello@snapair.co.nz and quote your order number.
Q. Why is there a rural or outer island surcharge if shipping is free over $100?
A. Free shipping covers standard delivery. Rural and outer island delivery attract additional charges from couriers or freight providers, so these are passed on separately where they apply.
Q. What if the surcharge is wrong?
A. Please contact us and we’ll check it. If you’ve already ordered and the surcharge was applied incorrectly, we’ll refund it.
