The QT3 is a personal purifier, not a room purifier. That distinction matters. With 37 m3/h CADR, it creates a clean-air zone around the person using it rather than treating an entire space. The right tool for hotel rooms with poor ventilation, long-haul flights, desk use in a shared office, or time spent in a car.

What it captures

H11 HEPA rated at 95%+ efficiency at 0.3 microns, the hardest particle size to catch, not the smallest. Particles above and below that size, including viruses, are captured more efficiently. Very noisy and certainly insane to create a "bubble"

The unit looks very cheap, is very loud apart from on the highest seeing, and given that it is a linear air flow it will certainly not be able to create a "bubble" of clean air around you. Using it at the lowest level, where the noise is indeed minimal, the air flow will not even reach your face when you're sitting at a table. So like it's bigger brothers, where (Sqair) the lowest and only quiet setting will only clear a 9sqm room in 20 minutes, not actually a real world sized living room.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. The QT3 is designed as a small personal air purifier for close-up use rather than whole-room cleaning. Like any air purifier, lower fan speeds are quieter but also move less air, while higher speeds give you more airflow with more noticeable noise. We’re transparent about that and publish the QT3’s stated noise range at 29 to 45dB. We stand by the QT3 as a personal-use product when used for that kind of setup.

We've used one of these for a couple years now and I'm so happy to have found an NZ distributor for replacement air filters (and we even bought another purifier lol)! I plan to bring one to work for meetings:-)

QT Little life saver

Bought 2 of these little QT models to combat air pollution in bedrooms from wood buring fires in the neighborhood. In combination with keeping windows a tiny crack open these are doing a fantastic job at cleaning the air coming in and the air inside already. No more stinky smoke smell. Life saver. Not too noisy, and the led isnt too bright either. Win win.

FAQs

Like many other air purifiers, the filter replacement light comes on after a set number of hours of use. By default it will come on after 800 hours of use. In New Zealand conditions, your filter will typically last longer.

See below to determine when to replace the filter. To reset the filter reminder, hold the filter replacement button for a couple seconds until it flashes.

As well as the replacement HEPA filteryou can purchase online, we have spare straps and buttons for the strap available. Please get in touchif you'd like to order a strap and/or button set!

As the filter slowly fills up with pollutants, you'll see it get discoloured from it's original white. Often it will appear grey or black. If you notice the QT3 doesn't seem to be providing as much clean air as before, have a look at the HEPA filter.

We provide an estimate of a 10 month lifespan based on 4 hours use per day in NZ conditions.
