FAQs

No, the S1+ uses a simple LCD screen with no backlight.

Hold the mode (cog symbol) button on top of the device for 2 seconds to change temperature unit.

The S1+ has two different operating modes when on battery. Auto mode will perform a PM2.5 reading dynamically, based on battery life. whereas Eco will perform it once every 30 minutes. Auto mode will use more battery, 30 days life vs 60 days on Eco mode.

Both modes will update temp and humidity every 10 seconds.

To switch between them, click the mode button (cog symbol) on top of the monitor.

No calibration is required for the PM2.5 sensor. However, it is possible to offset the readings.

Yes! With a long battery life, and Bluetooth connection to the app - the S1+ is designed to be used on the go. You can continue to monitor via the app wherever you are, provided the device is close enough to be connected to your phones Bluetooth.

No. because it only connects through Bluetooth, you'll need to be within Bluetooth connection range of the device. This range can vary depending on the environment, but it's typically 10-30m

Yes, it is designed to be plugged in continuously if that's preferred. This will ensure readings remain real-time (5 second refresh rate). However it may mean the temperature sensor over reads slightly due to the heat produced when charging.

Measurements which can be exported for analysis (through the Temtop app) are recorded every 30mins
