The M10i is a compact indoor air quality monitor that provides real-time readings for PM2.5, formaldehyde (HCHO), TVOCs, AQI, and overall air quality levels. This combination makes it a simple and effective tool for tracking common indoor pollutants.

Unlike most monitors in this range, the M10i includes a dedicated formaldehyde sensor. Formaldehyde is often found in furniture, flooring, paints, adhesives, and building materials, especially in new or recently renovated spaces. With the M10i, you can easily monitor HCHO levels and detect potential off-gassing, helping you take action to improve your indoor air.

It also connects via Wi-Fi to the Temtop app for remote monitoring, trend analysis and data exports.

Gives me peace of mind

I have an extreme medical sensitivity to VOC that has previously left me hospitalized a few times. I bought this to use due some building and paint work that needed to be completed in my apartment. I used the Temptop product to monitor when it was safe for me to return home. It works great and the technicians for the company used to run the ozone and air scrubbing machine were interested in the results. It was easy to download them to excel. Well worth the money. Only wish I had looked for a product like this many years ago for my work office environment when they were doing years of refurbishment. Highly recommended. Fast delivery too. Thank you

FAQs

These models are exactly the same except for Wi-Fi. This one has Wi-Fi, allowing you to monitor the air through the Temtop app. In addition you can also do data exports through the app.

Yes, as long as the M10i is connected to Wi-Fi, then you're able to check the readings from the Temtop app wherever you are.

Yes, it is designed to be plugged in continuously if that's preferred. This will ensure readings remain realtime.

Yes, although this model isn't as suited to portability as some of our other Temtop units. This is solely due to the battery life (4-6 hours) and not having Bluetooth, meaning you can only use the app if the M10i is connected to Wi-Fi

Just click the 'Home' button at the top of the monitor to switch between readings (PM2.5, AQI, TVOC, HCHO). Alternatively you can double click the home button to allow it to continuously loop between readings.

It's recommended to calibrate the Formaldehyde (HCHO) sensor every ~3 months. To do this:

Switch on the M10i and wait for about 10mins
Press and hold the calibration button (small hole beside USB port) for ~2 seconds using the pin needle tool provided until the HCHO icon on the screen flashes
Place the M10i outside for 10 minutes to ventilate
Once the HCHO icon has stopped flashing, calibration is complete

Yes, although it's important to note this does not provide professional/laboratory grade results.

Because of the electrochemical design, some other gases may interfere with the readings. Alcohol (Ethanol) is a common example which can have a big impact.

Yes it uses a backlit LCD screen. If you're sensitive to light at night, you may want to keep it in another room.
